Getting the Parents Involved

When we consider the parents as the main educators in a child's life it would seem wise to do all that is possible to get them involved in their education and development as much as possible. I remember several scenarios when I saw the parents as a pain in the ass and just focused time and energy into the 15 year old alone. Upon reflection it left such a gap in comparison to what could have been accomplished when involving the whole family.
